How we use AI in our writing

We use ethical AI to help us research and write more efficiently. People remain responsible for everything we publish.

Our principles

Praxis Global Institute works on ethical AI, so we hold our own writing to the same standard we recommend to others: AI supports people; it does not replace their judgement or their accountability.

Every article, insight and publication on this website has a named author or editor who is responsible for it.

What AI helps us with

We may use AI tools to help find and summarise sources, suggest structure, produce a first draft, check readability and accessibility, and draft social media summaries.

Some cover images and cartoons are created digitally with the help of AI or code. People shown in them are illustrations, not photographs of real events.

What people always do

A person decides what we write about and what position we take.

Every fact, figure, quote and date is checked against its original source, and those sources are linked in the text so readers can check them too.

The named author or an editor reviews, edits and approves every piece before it is published. Opinion columns are approved by the person whose name they carry.

What we never do

We never publish invented quotes, statistics, case studies, clients or testimonials.

We never present AI-generated images as photographs of real people or events.

We never enter confidential client or personal information into AI tools that are not approved for that purpose.
